Jul 15, 2019 After watching the tag match against the Bucks I gotta lower him back to top 10 haha. It was good, but one of the more blah Bucks tags I've ever seen in my life.
Jul 15, 2019 Yeah, I thought the exact same thing. I actually found that match really boring by their standards. Granted I was really tired and just wanting to get through it so I could go to bed but it did feel like it really dragged.
Jul 15, 2019 They went like 31 minutes, when it should have been max 18 given the style they worked. I get why they thought a Cody and Dustin match would work better, but those two working a Young Bucks match would have been way more interesting, fun, and better. It's just not what I think they should be doing given the "All Elite" branding. The Bucks need to be having the same spot fests that get them the best tag team in the Observer every year. Every match needs to be fire. Hangman can't go 19 minutes in a decent match with Kip Sabian, these women don't need to be there just to be there. They do need footage, and they've gone all in with their inclusive marketing, but at the same time they don't have the talent top to bottom to do these four plus hour cards every show. Double or Nothing? Great show. Fyter Fest? Good show, even very good. Fight for the Fallen was a meh show to me, and they can't have that response from people who are already into that style, their stories, etc. They need to be blow away, NXT level shows. 5-6 matches max should be the sweet spot. Brandi is great outside the ring, keep her out of it. Actually let's see Priestley/Nakajima vs Riho/Britt Baker - 2 MJF/Guevara/Spears vs Havoc/Janela/Darby Allin - 3.5 Brandi vs Allie - 1.5 The Dark Order vs Jungle Boy/Luchasaurus vs Anjelico/Jack Evans - 3.75 Adam Page vs Kip Sabian - 3.5 Lucha Bros vs SoCal Uncensored - 3.5 Omega vs CIMA - 4.25 Young Bucks vs Cody/Dustin - 3.25 A lot of WWE PPV's end up being better than this throughout the year. That's not acceptable.
Jul 22, 2019 Looks like we should be getting an official announcement on the details about the TV show this week, as official AEW on TNT Twitter and Instagram pages have popped up. I wouldn't be too surprised if it's revealed on BTE today
