Feb 11, 2022 Tbh I havent thought about it much lol still pretty early! Maybe once it gets closer to summer if no one else has made it yet! Anticipating Republican to take back Congress but hoping that Democrats can keep margins small. I can live with Republicans having slim margins in the House & Senate.
Feb 11, 2022 in what world does this make sense for Russia with all the sanctions they'll have against them
Feb 11, 2022 The sanctions will hurt but they won’t be economy breaking sanctions. Russia’s economy is a major player in the global economy so Europe + U.S. going full scorched earth with sanctions would hurt themselves/their economies significantly too & they know that. Russia isn’t Iran/N. Korea where they can be sanctioned to h--- without any whiplash.
Feb 12, 2022 A bit off topic, but the NRA’s silence on the Amir Locke situation tells you everything you need to know about them. They only care about one type of gun-owner. They were silent about Philando Castile too.
Feb 13, 2022 I mean... this isn't anything new... the NRA was pro-gun control in the 60's when the Black Panthers started open carrying in California and helped pass the Mulford Act.

Feb 13, 2022 It’s what happens almost every midterm after a presidential election: the party that wins the White House typically loses Congress.
Feb 14, 2022 Putin doesn't give af about western sanctions. Russia already annexed Crimea in 2014 and supported pro Russian separatists in the war of Ukraine's Donbas region(the same region, where they building up troops now) without any consequences besides a little slap on the wrist by the west: "Ywouv bween a bwad bwoy Putin-kun, more sanctions for ywou uwuu".
Feb 14, 2022 If we had better leaders then I think a war on drugs would be successful. Problem is they didn't have that intention and they don't care now either. This is just gonna hurt urban areas even more and fuel this deadly epidemic. Making drug use more accessible to more people sounds like a hustle to me. Also sounds like d--- dealers will be more comfortable in pushing poison. I been around the heaviest of drug use and users.. Making their habit safer is not gonna change much. They either die from it or get clean.. can't have it both ways. I guess it makes since though coming from the people who encourage burning down their own cities.. this is no different and we all know Biden dosent give a s--- about unfair drug offenses.
Feb 19, 2022 Missed these replies, but Russias economy is terrible. It's basically a 3rd world country outside of major cities. Texas, NY and California individually have a higher GDP than Russia lol. They keep the majority of their population in poverty. They rely on imports and exports to survive so saying that sanctions wont' hurt from NATO countries is crazy. Crimea was one thing, but you're talking about a whole country. The only reason there won't be force if they do invade is because they have more nukes than anyone and nothing to lose. In the words of McCain "Russia is a gas station masquerading as a country"
Feb 19, 2022 Russia is a major provider of gas for numerous European countries. So like I said, the sanctions will hurt but NATO countries understand there’s a whiplash effect if Russia’s economy tanks. Their economies will undoubtedly be negatively effected too. Russia having an authoritarian government, they don’t have to care as much about public opinion as democratic countries do. So even if their economy does suffer *shrug*
Feb 19, 2022 Agreed that Putin doesn't have to worry about public opinion because public opinion is squashed and punished, but he does have to worry about pissing off the oligarchs if he f---s up their money
Feb 19, 2022 True but I would imagine for the most part, they’re in agreement with what he’s trying to do re: Ukraine. Most of them want to bring back the “glory days” of the Soviet Union too.
