Picked this up lastnight. Only got $3 credit for trading in 15 at Best Buy. Hoping this doesn't take forever to update and get started. I remember having a h--- of a time getting 15 started last year.

Most realistic sports game I've ever played. MyCareer is dope and online is so much better. 2k did great this year!

This game is great, but there is waaay too much bs. Missed layups, wide open shots missed. I'll get the meter right on the line, wide open and they miss it. Then the dude im facing online will usually grab that board, then pull up for 3 and hit it. Every time. There is also absolutely no help defense.

My Career is also something that is sprinkled with bs. I understand the my player in the beginning isn't necessarily that good by NBA standards, like in the past games, but this is ridiculous. They miss every jump shot and brick wide open layups. Any time you drive to the hoop you get tackled before you can even get a shot up. (Not that they'd hit it.) Not to mention you could s--- in one half of a game, then not play a single second in the second half. Come the f--- on dude.
My player is a 72 and cannot hit jump shots or finish with any type of contact.
This is a great game, and could probably be the best 2k ever, but they really need to patch some of this s--- up.

Also if you have PS and wanna get waxed, s---t me a message.

s--- man, each year I put my last years edition up at the beginning of September for 20 bucks online. ALWAYS get a buyer. Do that next time man!

Edit: I agree, the game is so good. You got to work to get baskets and it REALLY helps to move the ball and get your team involved. It helped in the latest games obviously, but I find it really helps here more. You can't really just keep bombing 3's. In 2K15 I didn't do this but if I did s---t 3s they would drop easily. In here open 3s aren't even guaranteed. You got to work it in, use picks and be careful with passes.

I love that the bounce lead pass is back. Excellent feature NBA 2K6 had (lol 10 years it comes back). So nice doing a great bounce pass to lead transition buckets.

I s--- hard at this game lol. But haven't played in a few years. Still enjoying this game. My career is cheesy though, hate the name frequency vibrations and that lame shake move.

I'm starting to get better and win more often. I am only playing on the default for now. But moving the ball around helps a ton. Using the right stick to put a hand up on a shooter is good. Using picks and rolls can help.

It's definitely an adjustment though over the last 2!

Yeah I'm used to psst 2k games where I'd just run down and drop 3s. I don't even know how to call a PnR on this yet. Better start practicing.

Also I hate how I only control my player in my career tbh. It's been a problem I've had with it since 2k11. I make great passes to teammates and they miss wide open lay ups or shots. I can't for the life of me get 10 assists. Also when I get subbed out we're usually winning and I come back in with impossible situations to win. Like down 10 with 20 seconds to go like wtf?

If you got PS4, press L1 this will bring up icons for the players. So if you want your shooting guard for example it's O. Hold O when the icon is above his head, then he'll run over. Above his head will have 2 options, 1 is which side he should screen to, the other is to roll or pop. You can cycle through rolling and popping with R1 and I believe you can rotate through which side to pick with R2. You may have to play around with the buttons exactl but they have changed it. Last year picks were O I believe, but this game O is that lead bounce pass which is a GODSEND when it comes to fast break.
