Apr 11, 2018 I went out of my way to catch as much as I could this weekend. Work 5 to 11/12 so my nights are completely open. I could go to bed at 10am and still get a comfortable six hours. Can't imagine going to school and spending most of my time on that. Way too much s--- to do.

How am I supposed to give a s--- about any move these guys do when i know that in the next thirty seconds someone will get hit with a top rope piledriver and kick out. This ain’t my “lemme piss off the indie marks” gimmick talking. This is a s---t.
Apr 22, 2018 How many and what matches have you seen? Top to bottom, it's the best wrestling show in the world. Here's why they do what they do. They have the hardest of the hardcore fans watching the top indie names in the business. EVERY match on the card is always trying to steal the show. There's no stories to tell, no buffer matches, no politics about what you can and can't do. It's guys showing the Regal's/Meltzer's in the crowd all that they're capable of. You don't get a chance to come back if you don't have a MOTN contender. If they did - for lack of a better term - normal matches, where things build, they protect moves, whatever, they wouldn't have an audience. Every match is trying to be the blow away, 4.5+ star classic. That's the appeal. Dave said something along the lines of in PWG, every guy is going for pops. That's the whole point. In New Japan or other promotions, they just wrestle and take the pops as they come. It's like the playoffs vs the all star game or skills comp. I understand why it might be awkward watching guys do every move in the book during the first match on the show, but that's what we're there for. Nobody wants to see basic, psychologically sound, 3 star wrestling on the indies. We'd stick to WWE if that was enough.

Is it any question why the styles we see on TV differ from what these guys enjoy doing? Why is Ospreay having six insane matches during Mania weekend less than a week after almost breaking his neck? This is what they love to do. This is what they think is best. And it is.

Lmao. Every PWG match looks like if someone set the rules to start with 20 finishers on WWE 2K18. Ospreay needs to stop d--- near killing himself or he won’t last to 30. That Ricochet video was hilarious. Looked like a glorified gymnastics routine.
