Jul 25, 2019 Sadly, I have no clue! Maybe you can help me pick? I’ve never really played a FE game. I played one game for maybe 5-10 hours but it was at a time I didn’t have much free time, so I never got a chance to finish it. I was hoping this would be a good game to finally experience FE, since so many people rave about the series. I’ve also been avoiding news and discussions about it. The only thing I know is that you pick a house for your playthrough and that there are 3 or 4 endings, there isn’t a “good ending”, and that all the endings are intentionally bittersweet. But other than that, I literally know nothing else about the game. Can I go into this game completely blind, knowing nothing about the previous games? If not, is there a write up or YouTube video that’ll explain the backstory to me so I can get caught up? Also, is there any research I should do beforehand to help me pick a house? What do you think? Sorry for all the questions. Complete idiot here when it comes to FE. Either way, I’m pretty excited to play it.

Jul 25, 2019 Yea hollow knight is a masterpiece. I’m really looking forward to the sequel Silksong. It already looks amazing. Probably won’t be out for a really long time though. I’ve actually played most of those games lol. My girl loves Stardew Valley. I don’t like it as much as her but we still put in a good number of hours together. I bought Katana Zero recently but haven’t had a chance to play it other than a quick test run through the first 30-60 minutes. I think I’m gonna enjoy that one. Other than that, I’ve never played Moonlighter or Freedom Planet. I’ll defintelt check those out. Thanks for the recommendations!

Jul 25, 2019 Freedom Planet is a really good 2D platformer, especially if you like Sonic games, like Mania. Plays kinda similar to it.

Aug 5, 2019 I'm still spending a lot of time with Zelda. Game is perfect. The only thing it's missing (Switch in general) is a trophy or achievement scheme.
Aug 5, 2019 How far into are you? I haven’t had much time to play. I got to the monastery and picked my house. But I haven’t played since the weekend it came out. Hope I have some time this week to pick it back up.
