Jun 13, 2018 Cocaine is f---ing amazing. I’ve been showing everyone that song. I hope he doesn’t waste time on a BME2 album unless eminem pulls his head out of his a---. Drop bar exam 5 and release another album like boom or ryan. Royce is on f---ing fire. He needs to keep it up.
Jun 13, 2018 Eminem needs to stay around Royce and take some pointers from his boy at this point. Will Eminem ever put a great body of work together ever again??? It's looking less likely as the days go by. When you hear Royce talk on em and his studio ethic... you don't get the vibe that he works well with criticism. People seem to frightened of upsetting em. Surely Royce can critique em without him getting sensitive about it? He seems to think he's a lot more diplomatic than Budden for example (after all he criticised buddens handling of the Eminem revival situation). If that's the case and you care about your boy as much as you let on... then why aint you in there having a heart to heart telling him where he's not quite getting it right. Em can still rap in his sleep. I don't think anyone ever denied that. I'm starting to wonder though like I'm sure a ton of other fans are, as to whether or not he can still make catchy/melodic hiphop consistently for a whole album to compliment his lyrical prowess. Caterpillar gives me a glimmer of hope. IMO... realistically... the last time he did this organically was Relapse, and thanks to the idiots that sh---ed on that album all because they couldn't get over an accent and comprehend the idea of this being a concept album, we then got recovery. The beginning of the creative downfall.
Jun 13, 2018 Eminem and Royce could put together a great project. But eminem never seems to be serious when he works with Royce. He looks at it as homies f---ing around. He needs to sit back and realize Royce isn’t just a homie, he’s the competition.
Jun 13, 2018 I want some BME, Em has been dropping some fire with his verses. But yeah, Cocaine is incredible. Eminem can keep his ladies for his hooks whenever he finds it feasible, but he better be taking some notes from Royce. This is how you use to chick hook. That hooks is stuck in my head since the day I listened to it.
