I hate using these types of arguments, but this "the season was a critical and commercial flop" nonsense some people are pushing is total bs. The response for this season, from critics and fans, was positive overall. The only thing indicating otherwise is the 22% drop in ratings, and that's incredibly misleading if you look the ratings episode by episode. Seriously? We're not supposed to care about Stan dying, we're supposed to care about the kid not having his dad. Stan's wife told Frank that Blake is the one who killed him. Surely you can at least remember what happens from there. There was plenty of focus on both...
Apr 20, 2016 McConaughey, Vaughn... It fits with the whole "actor who needs redemption" thing. Cage was pretty good in Joe (2013). Hard to judge him for his money roles.

Apr 20, 2016 The head of HBO said he regretted pushing the show creator to push out a second season so quickly. Something about the first being an organic creation that took years and meant alot to Nic. Hopefully we get another season naturally at some point in the future.
