Jun 22, 2017 Didn't watch smackdown but d--- I guess there were only about 3,100 people there and they had to move all the people to one side and the cameras were careful to not pan to the other side lol. This is kinda awkward in the sense that the wrestlers were basically cutting promos looking at an empty arena, since their backs were to the side with the people lol. Looks like some were on the other side, but only in the first few rows. Raw ratings have been at lows for the year recently(till this past week I think) and it's not too rare you hear about attendance issues like this at house shows or smackdown..WWE's not exactly soaring in popularity lately.
Jun 22, 2017 @Kon that's how it looked when I went to SD last December. They didn't move everyone to one side though, that's just kinda how it ended up looking. Aside from the people at ringside, there was probably only 15 people in the seats on the side of the hard camera.
Jun 22, 2017 d--- that's rough...they gotta figure something out cuz it's embarrassing being in those arenas that hold around 15,000 people and they're struggling to even get 1/3rd of that some of the time. I imagine they give away tickets in desperation times like that too, so the real attendance could be even lower.
Jun 22, 2017 Yeah, they gotta get their s--- together for sure. And I definitely wouldn't be surprised if they gave away tickets out of desperation. I'm going to the Raw after GBoF (Monday July 10) and I'm curious to see how the attendance is going to be. I'll be sure to take some pics.
Jun 22, 2017 Do you know if Brock is scheduled for that show yet or not? I think Raw's attendance tends to be higher than SD usually so it'll probably be semi-packed at least.
Jun 27, 2017 So we waited an extra week and got the same result they originally had at the PPV anyways? Saw someone say they probably did it just to try to boost their poor ratings, figured a MITB match on tv would do that.

Jun 27, 2017 That pic is from last week or maybe even 2 weeks ago but no from what I read it was either during the show or right before. They moved everyone to one side so it'd look better on TV so that's why the other side is (basically) completely empty. I dunno what happened in the match tonight, just heard Carmella won. I'm assuming it was clean just cuz the backlash they got last time.

Jun 27, 2017 @Changeling if by tv taping you mean a sd show that was taped on Tuesday and aired on Thursday then no. If you mean a sd event that aired live on tv then yes. I went to the december 6th show that was the sd after TLC.
