Randy is a great wrestler and with Edge, was the counterpart to Cena in his reign of terror that made stretches of that period really good TV. Those two were my favorites with Shawn at the time. When he retired Raw was largely carried by Orton and Cena at points.

The problem with Randy is his laziness, which people close to him have alluded to. When he's in a top match, few in that company are better.

d--- you were at that wrestlemania? Crazy. You also got to see Kurt angle vs Shawn Michaels one of my favorite matches of all time. I only have one wrestlemania package dvd and it’s wm 21.

And yeah to me after that year is when taker was noticeably going downhill physically and wrestling wise and Orton would have been more of a surprise too and would have been an amazing pop for the audience. Orton would have been the complete evil villain after that. But I figured they would have the taker win going into the match.

Meltzer reported in this week's observer that Jason Jordan has had issues since his surgery and he's being transitioned into a backstage role.

Angle story made him a joke, but that guy is so talented.

You know, this is funny. Because this is "EXACTLY" what I said about The Bellas, when they first burst onto the scene, literally 10 years ago to this day. I still don't think WWE's Women's Revolution needed them to be a part of that at all. They weren't even "athletic" when they first joined WWE. Just being honest.

Australia PPV has Bryan/Miz for a WWE title shot. They also changed Cena/Owens to some tag with Elias and Bobby. Ew.

Bryan/Miz also doing a mixed match with their wives at the h--- in a Cell PPV. Lol.

Mike Johnson of PWInsiderElite.com recently commented on Constable Corbin taking Kurt Angle's spot as RAW General Manager. Here is what Johnson said courtesy of RingsideNews.com:

“Unless something has changed in the last 48 hours or so, Kurt Angle had been training for another return match. So it could be that this is the beginning of that storyline to bring him backto the wrestling ring. So either to move him temporarily from the General Manager or remove him completely from the General Manager and have him wrestle every now and again.”

“Up until this past week Kurt Angle had been training and had been working out in preparation for another return to the ring for WWE.”

For what it's worth, Joe Peisich of BarnBurner.ca is claiming that Angle is going to be wrestling full-time again:

“Kurt Angle was forced to take a sabbatical. Why? Because Kurt Angle is coming back not as the GM but as a wrestler. Yes, Kurt Angle will be a full-time wrestler when he comes back. I’ve heard he might come back in October. Look for him.”

@dna hits , possible return to the ring and maybe even full time for ya boy Kurt.

Kurt/AJ Styles and Kurt/Bryan would both be great match ups imo. Please no Kurt/Roman.

So you're saying have Kurt return on Smackdown? I agree that there is better matchups for him there, but there's also a pre-made story for him on Raw...though it is sadly with Baron Corbin lol

s--- I didn't even think about the raw/smackdown aspect of things.. But yeah you're right, I'm sure if he'd return and be a full time wrestler it'd likely be on raw, cuz that's what they do with the bigger names from past eras(Brock, HHH, Kurt, Rock if he ever returns etc).

But who knows, could always move AJ or Bryan over in the draft next year after Mania too, or if he's there in time for November they can just have him wrestle a smackdown guy at survivor series as part of all the 'brand wars' stuff they do each year.

also just realized there's Kurt/Brock storyline in place if Brock happens to be around during any of that time.

@Kon one thing to note is in next year's "superstar shakeup" it's likely they start to really stack Smackdown with big names in preparation for the move to Fox
