    1.) nobody's hyping that song as one of his best
    2.) that's dope af
    3.) the track doesn't open with the redundancy
    4.) that's 6 bars out of 40
    5.) don't f--- with wayne. he's put out several thousand tracks, compare op

    2. just as repetitive and childish as the OS hook

    5. Lil Wayne has been rapping for 25 years, Keem wasn't even alive 25 years ago.

    f--- all of the above. wayne is vetted and could record himself shi--ing into a bucket at this point. keem hasn't proven s--- and his biggest hit is garbage imo.

    if you have a small sample size and are able to point to something (objectively) subpar, then that doesn't bode well for your batting average

    I'm not advocating that it's a great piece of writing, but again I don't think that's any more juvenile than your average rapper lol. rappers from 25 yrs ago have said A LOT worse and juvenile things, I just think it's too quick a judgement

    fair. and i can't disagree with that.

    granted this thread is opinion based, but the school of fish has gotten larger over the years, so i expect more from rappers these days. maybe it's maturity & growth w/ age, but i don't find myself resonating with middle school level lyrics telling a b---- to shut up and to sit on someone's face -- especially when you're trying to be a breakout artist. :emoji_shrug:
