    I had a feeling that would be somewhat divisive at first. I think it’ll grow on some people. To me this seems like a natural progression from what she was doing before. I’m not saying it’s the best song ever but I like it. Some people might think I’ll like anything she puts out but that’s not true. There’s even some songs from The Weeknd that I think are mediocre and he’s my favorite singer

    I like Obsessed, Stranger, Vampire, All American b----, and Get Him Back. I also feel it’s not as strong as her first project, but she’s super talented and her music has good moments. I think if she can expand outside of writing about an ex it would be nice

    I’ve seen people say this album isn’t as good as SOUR or that it’s much worse than SOUR, and I don’t get it at all. If you’re talking hits sure SOUR is better but there’s more to an album than just hits. GUTS is just an evolution of the sound on SOUR so I don’t really get how it’s worse. If anything one could also make the argument that GUTS is too similar to SOUR. I think some people somehow already have rose-tinted glasses on for SOUR. It’s not like that album was great songs all the way through lmao
