Yeah, getting billions of streams with your FIRST album really sets you up for failure because there’s almost no way your next album is going to live up to those numbers. That’s why it’s better to start off your career low and keep climbing up. I don’t think Olivia’s next album will live up to her last numbers wise, just like with what happened to Billie. However, I’m hoping the album will be better sonically and lyrically.

Olivia is a summer artist to me. I’d be very surprised if her second album or at least a single leading up to the album doesn’t come out sometime this summer. She could be transitioning to being an early fall artist… who knows. She’s already beginning the teasing though.

Olivia’s last album was great and very promising for the future of pop. The sophomore album can make or break pop artists. Do you think Olivia will top SOUR? Are you looking forward to her second album? What do you think it will be called (please don’t name it after another flavor)? What type of sounds will she explore?
