May 6, 2018 Listened to the whole thing (dope that they offer an audio variation)...there was def some pretension sprinkled in, but I didn’t think it was over the top. What probably bothered me more was his depressive tones across the board and his general disdain for white america. Really seems like that’s what keeps him motivated right now, which seems unhealthy longterm.
May 6, 2018 Same with J Cole and his KOD album, it just seems like other rappers are just making digestible versions of TPAB themes. I'm happy Kung Fu Kenny inspired everyone to preach the message to people who find TPAB too dense.

Also, Because of the Internet as an album, and release with the script, he been depressed and pretentious

May 6, 2018 Since because of the internet, hes been going through this transition of understanding his own black identity in the world he lives in and works. In his Breakfast club interview he was alluding to a lot of stuff.
May 6, 2018 I remember seeing Glover with Derrick Comedy on the "bro r---" video... then Community became my favorite sitcom and I admired how he parlayed his youtube BS into a real career.
