Dec 31, 2015 do you record the entire track straight through? cuz it seems like you always start off pretty good, but then start trailing off by the middle/end.
Dec 31, 2015 That used to be how I did things but I've been straying away from that nowadays. Want to kick that bad/lazy habit next year for sure It's also a case of not always being able to record so I run w what I have sometimes. Defintely happened for the end of the 2nd verse
Dec 31, 2015 makes sense. you kind of have that approach of just get the music out there for people to hear, but man if i were you i would go back and rerecord some of these tracks until you perfect them/get them properly mixed. there's a lot of potential with some of your music, but i feel like you move onto the next thing so quickly that you don't let them become fully realized. but then again i do find it kind of cool how you let everybody see your progression without worrying about making it "perfect." so idk haha
Dec 31, 2015 It's a product of my own insecurities in that I don't think with the tools/skills I have at hand I could ever really "perfect" any of these joints. My mixing/engineering, my recording set up etc. so I just keep it movin u kno? I love the process As lon as my rapping and songwriting keeps improving I'm personally happy and as long as people like u exist that see my output for what is and don't try to make it I to any more or any less u kno? I'm glad u get it tho/appreciate ur feedback
Dec 31, 2015 what we NEED to change is you "not caring" or thinking you cant improve your engineering or whatever. you can definitely get better. you already okay at mixing, just look at youtube and watch tutorials and such. you have the tools.
Dec 31, 2015 Workin with my voice is different than working with urs. It takes more handiwork to make me sound listenable lol. But all that aside who said I don't care or put in effort? I put in time on everything I drop. I get what you're saying tho and I'm clearly working on it
