Jan 25, 2015 Did the leak of INAD prolong the release of detox ? ? I say no it did not cuz Dre was never gonna release detox anyways. On the other hand INAD leaked (what 9 months early lol @Koolo ) and it got overall bad feedback, so did the feedback make Dre scrap the album once again? @Koolo do you know any reasons detox is over at least 10 years late? I bet there's over 500+ tracks made for the album. I would love to hear all the Dre and Em tracks made.
Jan 25, 2015 There's really only 5 reasons why Detox didn't come out 1. I don't believe Dr. Dre would've wanted a drugged up comical Eminem on his last album, but was fine with seeing the money he got from Encore. 2. Dre had Beats as a main priority with Jimmy from 2008 up until last year 3. A lot of Detox beats/songs were taken by Game, Snoop, Obie Trice, Busta Rhymes, 50 Cent, Kendrick, probably even more & ended up becoming their songs. 4. s-----y Or Constantly Butthurt Ghostwriters 5. Jimmy Iovine
Jan 25, 2015 You are forgetting the #1 reason why Detox didn't come out . Dre has a huge fear of failure. He was afraid to release Detox as he thought it would'nt be as good or sell as much as his first 2 albums.
Jan 25, 2015 Refill songs weren't intended for R2. They were recorded after Relapse, while R2 was recorded in the same sessions. So Bad, On Fire, and Ridaz were rerecorded Relapse 2 tracks
Jan 25, 2015 He wouldn't have had that fear had he not heard Encore & everybody on Aftermath wasn't leaving or beefing with the other I bet. If Em stayed as good as he did on TES & Game/50 never beefed, Detox would've happened a long time ago, guaranteed
Jan 25, 2015 ^If you're referring to my post I just named my Top 5, no specific order. Difficult would be my #1. It's an absolute shame that song never got an official release on an album.
Jan 25, 2015 Cocaine 50 Ways Going Crazy Emulate Difficult The Apple I Get Money The Apple 2003 Batch: Bully Hailie's Revenge (Do Rae Me) Monkey See, Monkey Do 'We Are Americans'
Jan 25, 2015 Same here. Even Wee Wee and Ballin Uncontrollably were enjoyable for what they were. Makes me wonder what other gems are sitting in his vault somewhere.
Jan 25, 2015 It was intended for the King Mathers album that was recorded in 2007. The majority of the songs Koolo leaked on Straight From The Vault (The Apple, GOAT, etc) were intended for that album. The album was eventually scrapped and unfinished due to his drug use. From what I hear Beautiful and Careful What You Wish For are the only songs from those sessions to be officially released. And I agree, It's Been Real is an awesome outro.
Jan 25, 2015 The upcoming solo album that Em was talking about during the Re-Up promo was King Mathers. But just like the Stat Quo, Cashis, and Bobby Creekwater albums, it never saw the light of day.
Jan 26, 2015 So some where out there, there's a full king Mathers album? Also was that the official name ? Would love to hear that album one day. Also makes sense beautiful and careful what you wish for , was meant for that album. They didn't fit on relapse
Jan 26, 2015 Yup. Between King Mathers (recorded in 2007) and Relapse 2 (recorded in 2008-09) there's two full unreleased Eminem albums sitting in the vault right now. Hopefully we get to hear them someday.
