    Grew up on both. I'd pick Outkast SLIGHTLY because they stand the test of time better. But, holy s--- @ anyone saying either are overrated. It's like when people comment on Biggie being overrated. Straight stupid.

    This doesn't make much sense, since Outkast is one of the few hip hop artists with a diamond record. They were extremely popular.

    yet a majority of atl artist from the last decade are garbage.

    they "were" extremely popular, the records sold argument is redundant, nobody cares how many sales they made. They're still overrated.

    yeah you said atl artists from the last decade lol and just about everybody on rap forums who dickride the outkast name but I highly doubt you know people or hear people in your real life who actually listen to them, let alone constantly besides yourself

    It's really not redundant though. You're picking and choosing for your own argument. Going diamond isn't just something you brush off. Only 7 rap albums have done that.

    Plus, I know plenty of people who still love Outkast, who play them at parties or at get-togethers. The only real argument you can make is they haven't been active in the last 10+ years. But to say they still aren't popular, or that no one "irl" plays them, is false. And being "overrated" is an opinion, not fact.
