Oct 28, 2015 so overlooked that there arent even lyrics i can find for you guys. but this is seriosly one of thugs most poignant tracks i think...and its littered with SO many great one liners "they want us to die young b/c we make their women s--- and slurp" "they tried to hang michael vick..." "you tryina put me in my mama's garden...if you take my life, you killed the real truth" @ThuggerSXN @Jet if uve never heard this >>>
Oct 28, 2015 u cant judge thug's writing by reading it off the paper. the entire song is like a steady stream of him trying to process how someone like trayvon, who he sees himself in, could have their life stolen from them so quickly. he name drops trayvon, and he talks about vick b/c its a different example of how the media could crucify someone. that itself is actually a pretty well thought out parallel to have. its not just about literally killing black men, but its also about ruining their image in any way possible (whether they "deserve" it in a particular case or not) also, b/c its thug, he keeps it lighthearted at the same time. he starts being condescending towards da white man w/ the "they want to k--- us cuz we f--- their women" type s---, while still balancing lines like "you just want me to die young." and delivery and execution can always add to poignancy. so try listening to the song m8.
Oct 28, 2015 couldn't have said it any better tbh. this is the kind of s--- i try telling my friends who can't get by thugger
Oct 28, 2015 I thought you would be too liberal to support dog fighting... but even if you are pro dog fighting you'd probably would agree there are better ways to handle a dog who loses a fight then to pick her up by her hind legs and exe swinging her head into a concrete floor until her brains are smashed out of her head. I know you are clueless and lack critical thinking... but I'll drop you a hint... Michael Vick has more in common with George Zimmerman than Trayvon Martin. What does Thug getting fellatio from white broads have to do with a 17 year old getting killed by a hyper violent paranoid loser with a hero complex while he is walking home to his dad's house? Nothing, it's stupid.
Oct 28, 2015 Nah the point of the line and the reference was that black men are looked at more critically than white males, regardless of what they do. I dont support or condone what vick did f--- are you so mad about. and no he doesnt, not in the context thug is referencing him. which is what matters here, not your own personal pov. but i already said it has to do with thug's pov on being demeaned as a black man in general, not with trayvon. can you not read? b/c u obviously cant use ur ears to listen to a song thats literally a few posts above this
Oct 28, 2015 What white dudes aren't held in a critical view when they are caught running an illegal gambling ring that inhumanely kills dozens of dogs? I wish morons like Thugger and Narsh wouldnt piggyback on legitimate causes.
Oct 28, 2015 i wish you could read as well as you think you can as for this song, last thing ill say to you is subtext is more important than the actual lines on paper.
Oct 28, 2015 Yeah... i get it... you gotta hear the lines he doesnt say... those are the valid points. f--- you. f--- George Zimmerman. f--- Michael Vick and f--- Young Thug. This song is a misguiged, self aggrandizing mockery of Trayvon Martin's memory.
Oct 28, 2015 How is it not? What if your sister was murdered by someone who got away with it... and i made a song about that included lines where i was mad at the media for making OJ Simpson look bad and getting my d-ck s----d?
Oct 28, 2015 Narsh is such a f---ing follower who never thinks for himself its amazing he hasnt ended up in a cult, yet.
