Bs list. Never even heard of any of those. Cardi B's album is the most listenable s--- on that list except Redemption, Astroworld (at least recognizable work) and Daytona. Daytona is very overrated tho. People actin' like it's a classic but it's just 7 song album that didn't even sounded perfect to me at all. ( It's one of my favs this year but still )
I don't really have a right to say anything about the most of the albums because I never heard of them and the artists. But Vince Staples ?? Lol. I don't get how they really decide he is great ? I mean when I listen to his s--- it doesn't really connect with me. I'd prefer listenin' to KOD over those, Kamikaze over those, Book of Ryan or Tha Carter V or Queen... I don't know but I don't understand the hate big artists get in US by critics. It's almost like bigger you are, the more people listenin' to your s---, the more critics try to bury you. If those albums are not the best how in the h--- people really are so interested in them ?? What's worse about them lol ? And did this list contain many underground rappers from US or they are well known in other countries too and I am the one who really doN't know 'em.

"as she expertly flips between boogaloo-inspired Latin trap, Southern hip-hop twerk anthems, tender R&B jams, and neck-snapping freestyles. It’s not so much a question anymore whether you like Cardi or not: it’s which Cardi you like most." How laughable and biased is this quote tho :lmaooo:

guy's gotta branch out a bit

^this is fair though. it seems like these lists always do have a pretentious vibe to them where the author intentionally throws a few in there just to show that they know hiphop, despite the average listener never having heard of the album. maybe that's me not branching out enough either though :emoji_shrug:

I don't hate it. Glad Jay Rock got some recognition. Still don't understand the reception that one got.

Thats because (most) critics want to show off their "knowledge". Ftr the ones I heard on this list I liked so I'm not s--- talking it but it seems to be the trend to ignore the popular albums -in general-.
