    Yo idk if theres a podcast thread already merge if so i guess, share your favorites! etc etc.


    but yeah i have been f---ing w/ podcasts for a couple years now and im trying to expan my horizons i listen to them every night to fall asleep really which works as a perfect sleeping aid for anyone that has trouble with that btw!
    Anyways i started off listening to howard stern show tapes then ricky gervais show tapes then joe rogan exp and brilliant idiots and marc maron etc which is really enough to last forever but it dawned on me today to listen to science and maybe history podcasts which im hyped on i had an epiphany i could be learning so much every night rather than just listening to what is essentially banter also i wanna switch it up so yup like .i said post ya tings and painting pics out now

    Hardcore History is a great history podcast, really long episodes about certain historical events and Dan Carlin (the host) is great at talking about it.

    Stuff You Should Know is my favourite podcast. Its about almost any topic but it is quite informal. The hosts just study each topic for a few days before recording so it isn't the most informative and they often make mistakes, but is really entertaining.

    Ahh nice, yeah loads.

    Literally right now i'm listening to Cumtown which Is a group of comedians from New York just chatting s--- for an hour. Very uhh un-PC but can be hilarious, I've only just gotten into it but its great so far.

    I saw you mention Ricky Gervais. Have you listened to the original XFM Radio shows? They were the Radio show he and Stephen Merchant were doing when they met Karl Pilkington there. IMO they are way better than the later podcasts, although you would have to torrent them. There are plenty of torrents with the music removed as well which is a must. If you can't find them I can probably sort em out.

    sleepycast is the greatest podcast of all time, and bill burrs podcast is great, definitely check those out

    sleepycast sounds f---ing cute will peep for sure, yeah fan of bills already i HATe how he plays old clips for most of it tho i cant stand that sounds like it was recorded with a d--- fliphone quality

    Thanks bro I started Hardcore History while I was at work today and it's dope. I love that this guy uses sources and actually sounds like he knows what he's talking about. I started with the WW1 stuff.. Looks like you have to buy all the other episodes? There's only a few that are free to listen.

    If you mean each different topic he talks about then no. He just chooses certain parts of history that are important or that hes just really into. It really doesn't matter which ones you do listen to first, there's just an occasional reference to something he talked about before.

    Attitude Era Podcast is by far my favourite.
    I also have all the old Ricky Gervais XFM shows on my google drive, will happily share them, golden stuff
