    d--- y'all are flying through the game. I'm just approaching the first trial

    Lv 15 Popplio
    Lv 15 Drifloon
    Lv 15 Trumbeak
    & 3 others I don't use, waiting for better pokes to fill the spots. (Not using exp all)

    Loving the game though, looking forward to catching up to everyone. 21 caught so far
    What a great well balanced team. Love Magnezone and I also wanna use Pallosand

    Thanks man I can't wait to see your league winning team as well! I turned off Exp Share as soon as I got it, it cheapens the game's experience. I was set on purely using new Mons but as soon as I found I could raise my all-time fav Salamence I said screw it lol. Golisopod & Pallosand are awesome I recommend them to everyone.

    Yeah exp share makes it way too easy, the only time I turn it on is if I put a bunch of trash pokemon in my party I wanna level to evolve like abra and magikarp.

    Haha that's kinda what I'm doing too, but I said I'd only use non-Gen 1 Pokémon. Since I always loved Gen 1 as a kid and then used a mostly Gen 1 team in Pokémon Y, I'm trying to avoid them all together and use mostly Sun/Moon ones, and others from 2-6. Goliosopod looks pretty cool as well. Looking forward to finding some badass mons to add to the team!

    Also just saw what Mega Salamence looks like for the first time, very cool! I guess the mega evolutions thing got dropped for gen 7?

    You get mega Evo'a after clearing the game, I don't remember where it is but when you go somewhere the same guy that gave you the Zygarde core gives you the mega Evo stuff

    Didn't get to play yesterday coz I was out all day at the cricket. Decidueye, Snorlax, Umbreon, Lycanroc, Charjabug and Slowpoke are a part of my team at the moment and I'll be on the third island by tonight.

    Waiting for tomorrow so I can get Cyndaquil via QR Scanner on Melemele Island.

    Press X and go over to the right for the Scanner. Scan 10 of those codes. ^ Each day you can scan 10 Pokémon which allows you to scan the island for whichever Pokémon/Island/Day it is. Only 1 Island Scan per day and 1 hour to catch one after you get 100 points. It's best to wait til you have the entire island explored before using the island scan because it might tell you to go somewhere you haven't unlocked and your 1 hour will be wasted.

    Right now I just used the scanner on the 1st island which got me a Chikorita on Route 2. Took a few random battles before it showed up.

    So you can scan ten random codes on an island and then you can find whichever Pokémon is on that island that day somewhere?

    Joel I see you are using Umbreon... I can trade you an Eevee that I took the time to breed for Wish. (I have like 10) This means whatever you evolve your Eevee into, it'll have a nice healing attack to restore HP with. Much better than Moonlight and works great on Umbreon since he's a tank.

    got to rename my festival plaza just before, pretty cool. this thing takes ages to grind. forcing myself to get a bit of FC grinding in before i beat the game.
