Sep 19, 2016 Sports are a form of entertainment at its purest. For some, however, that entertainment can create far more than a fun Saturday or Sunday afternoon. A South Carolina man recently was rescued by police officers after threatening to take his own life by jumping off of a bridge. The first-responders on the scene talked the man down by discussing the South Carolina Gamecocks and the upcoming Redskins-Cowboys game. The safest bet to connect with any stranger is clearly to talk about how bad the Cowboys are. In all seriousness though, the effectiveness and brilliance of the officers in this instance helped save someone's life, an immeasurable feat. Sports are sometimes a trivial endeavor, but can impact individuals in profound ways. Especially if you hate the Cowboys. http://www.12up.com/posts/3798638-p...scussing-shared-hatred-of-cowboys?a_aid=36273 You can watch the video here: http://www.thestate.com/news/local/crime/article101985017.html
Sep 19, 2016 Should ban the Cowboys from the league now just to make sure this guy stays happy and safe.
Sep 19, 2016 I feel like he could possibly be a Cowboys fan tbh. Then again, I heard being a fan of the Cowboys makes you suicidal.
