I’m in the same situation, person I’m living with tested positive & got over it (they were fully vaxxed & struggled heavily with it), yet I didn’t catch it throughout the whole period & because of how long the PCR tests had taken to retrieve the results back, I’d stopped being cautious in the house (which was silly but oh well).

But all I can think of is I may have natural immunity through an asymptomatic case I never knew I had previously & slipped through the cracks of my testing intervals, that’s the only thing I can gravitate towards preventing me from catching it where I’ve almost certainly been in multiple contacts of the virus within the last 2 weeks.

Happy about the situation, but extremely confused lol.

So? People make decisions on far less. Their body, their choice. Them having the vaccine doesn't make you any safer. Vaccines are purely there to numb the effects for the taker. If they don't want it, it should make no difference how you feel towards them as it has zero effect on your life and well-being.

Oof. How long have you got to wait until you're allowed the booster now?

Haven't heard Biden say things are back to normal... but BA2 hasn't hit America like the rest of the world yet... and Omicron infections have fallen to 30,000 a day compared to a million a day in January.

Most powerful person in the world saying there should be an end to remote work and there’s no more need for masking. He has cucked to big business.

30K a day? That’s still not good…no way near what the response from our leaders should be

So, did you mean to say Gov. Desantis or Trump instead of Biden... the guy famous for trying to enforce covid safety measures?

We’re still in a pandemic…. Biden isn’t as extreme as DeSantis and Trump but he’s not helping anything by saying remote work should end and it’s safe to go unmasked while we’re still in the thick of things.

we've transitioned to endemic at this point. Time to move on unless hospitalizations increase, which so far they aren't. Can't keep doing this. The new variant isn't as severe. Even the CDC is getting ready to start getting rid of masks on planes and trains next month

s--- hit a lull last year around this time, too. It’s too unpredictable and too soon to call it an endemic

“There is a widespread, rosy misconception that viruses evolve over time to become more benign. This is not the case: there is no predestined evolutionary outcome for a virus to become more benign, especially ones, such as SARS-CoV-2, in which most transmission happens before the virus causes severe disease. Consider that Alpha and Delta are more virulent than the strain first found in Wuhan, China. The second wave of the 1918 influenza pandemic was far more deadly than the first.”
