    too bad independent candidates are never viable choices that people could vote for. I think the majority of people are not staunch conservatives or liberals. More people would side with independent candidates if there wasn't this narrative shoved down everyone's throat that voting independent is throwing your vote away.

    Not at all. There are always details involved in determining people's views on things. You can't say very right = liberal, because what do you mean by saying liberal? American liberal or European liberal? Generally speaking, today's world lacks good term to describe political views. There are postulates that are supported in one country by left-wing parties and in other by right-wing parties. The line between left and right, liberal and social-democratic is sometimes very blurred.

    Most people identify as independents in the United States rather than democrats or republicans. it is a shame that third parties don't ever have a shot at winning a major office. It's primarily because the United States runs a "winner-take-all" system when it comes to elections.

    Yeah. it sucks

    Jill Stein is easily a better candidate than anyone running, but she doesnt have a chance in h---..
