Aug 14, 2021 'The Wire' really is worth the hype. I can say that. I just have very little interest in realistic dramas so I've never got round to many others, but I am very glad to have seen it and would recommend it to anyone. One of the greatest of all time with no hyperbole. Star Wars though? I've met plenty of people who haven't seen those old ones and it blows my mind every time. It was so significant to my childhood that I can't imagine growing up without it. Hard to recommend all that strongly though. The great films were made 40 years ago, and it's just another Disney property now.
Sep 21, 2021 Can't stand curb, probably never goanna watch it. Hard to explain but It's just frustrating or annoying to me. Like they have a whole episode dedicated to this pedantic old guy having some conversational back story so a very unlikely scenario occurs and that's the joke of the show. Seinfeld's similar but I can enjoy that. I think it's Larry David they way he speaks like everything's so urgent and serious and his mannerisms I'm like f--- your so annoying just to observe what the f---
