Basically every artist that is mainstream and that gets talked about on here is making fun/ignorant/turn up music. Some of those artists may occasionally try to make a meaningful song but the lyrics are rarely very good. How many songs are there around right now like 21 Savage - Nothin' New? Not just stuff on the charts. Hip-Hop fans just don't like hearing it. There's obviously exceptions to the rule but they're swamped by the aforementioned.
