Feb 11, 2020 Along those same lines (although no where near as impactful as other comments) Joell Ortiz’s Aftermath album. He had just released the Bodega Chronicles where he was absolutely killing it and then signed with Dre. Joell sounds way better over east coast NY sounding beats, but I can’t help but wonder what the music sounded like when those 2 worked together.
