Aug 28, 2015 Fresh Kendrick Verse 'Easy Bake' Suitcase full of merchandise, that's my new plan This my new wave, this my new tan This my summer days in the tropics by the cool sand Thought I would do something different. Any time a new Kendrick Lamar verse leaks I will post it here to keep people updated with Kendrick Lamar. Anyway this time I’m uploading Kendrick’s verse on Jay Rock’s upcoming album. This leaked a few days ago however we did not get the full version of the song, until today. Kendrick did not spit any more bars that we got from the previous leak and he has a very short verse, but It’s new Kendrick and still a great song. EDIT: I will still be posting Kendrick Lamar SOTD @KendrickSXN
Aug 31, 2015 Week 2 Day 1: I Hate You Let me start off this letter saying I don't like you Scared of you but I will fight you The beginning of Week 2. I’m putting up 2 songs today, mostly because the song that I was originally going to put up is disappointingly short but still a great song so I will use it as a bonus track. The first track of Week 2 is ‘I Hate You’. An old Kendrick song that actually shares similarities to some songs of Kendrick’s new project ‘TPAB’. A dark song like ‘u’ and by the end of the song you will most likely know who this ‘letter’ by Kendrick is being written for, much like ‘How Much A Dollar Cost’ Bonus Song: Vegas A throwaway from GKMC which sounds unfinished. Don’t have much to say about this, very short song which was supposed to be an interlude. This song has a lot of potential, I believe that if Kendrick added another verse it could had been a great song, as a matter of fact the only reason I added this was because I kept replaying it just wishing there was a second verse but this will have to do. @KendrickSXN
Aug 31, 2015 d--- that verse on that vegas song tho... n----- could make a double disc classic album with just his throwaways and unreleased s---
Sep 6, 2015 Week 2 Day 2: Compton Now everybody serenade the new faith of Kendrick Lamar This is King Kendrick LamarKing Kendrick and I meant it,my point intended is raw A Bonus track of GKMC; a very underrated track in my eyes. There is something extremely satisfying and magical about Kendrick and Dr. Dre exchanging verses after a 5 second hook. Both Kendrick and Dr. Dre’s delivery and lyrics complimented each other so well, the synergy between these 2 artists in this song was perfect and even the short hook was rather enjoyable. Not only is this song perfect but according to Kendrick this was the first song he did with Dre and stated that it was ‘the start of my new life’. if I had to compile a list of essential Kendrick songs this would be the first song I would consider. Reference. Kendrick Interview: around 10:55 @KendrickSXN
Sep 6, 2015 I agree its a very underrated song, and it fits well in the context of the album, since it goes from him being a kid in Compton to blowing up and working with a legend like dre. I just love how the song starts too.
Sep 18, 2015 Week 2 Day 3: It Ain’t Hard 2 tell I shook his hand, then I walked away, then reality took a toe on me Should of never gave him that .38 First of all I have to apologize for the lack of activity in this thread. Windows 10 died on me and right after I got that fixed my hard-drive died on me meaning I lost all my Kendrick Songs. Apart from that college started so I have been very busy. Now that that my excuses are out of the way; welcome to Week 2 Day 3. To celebrate Kendrick’s label partner Jay Rocks’ new album ‘90059’ I guess it would be a good idea to pick a track that features both of these artists. It Ain’t Hard 2 Tell is a track of No Sleep Till NYC a mixtape that K.Dot and Jay Rock collaborated on. This is one of those songs where Kendrick spits a story-telling verse. I don’t have much to say about this song to be honest, things start getting more interesting at the end of the verse, where Kendrick mentions his ‘friend’ who is ready to k---. It’s also interesting to see how Kendrick developed his conceptual verses you can compare this to the more up-to date songs like ‘How Much A Dollar Cost’ and see a significant change in Kendrick’s lyrical skills. @KendrickSXN
