Yeah I don't know about that either. Could be a surprise like Gus and Jones was though... I was totally counting Gus out and he did an amazing job. But, idk I think Holm would have a hard time with Correia let alone Ronda.

Supposedly they are doing Tate/Nunes on that card as well. Not sure why they didnt just give Nunes the shot if they didnt want to go the Miesha route. The Holm fight reminds me of the UFC giving Horiguchi a shot at Mighty Mouse, him and Holm both gave post fight speeches(after the fights prior to their shots) where they basically said they wernt ready. To me it doesnt matter, we're just lining em up for Rousey. I would say Nunes has the best chance againster her and im probably picking her to beat Miesha.

I'd prefer Nunes Vs. Rousey over Tate 3 as well.

I like Meisha but it would be similar to Cain & JDS fighting again. Meisha did better the second time around...However, I don't think her strategy of trying to clinch Ronda was smart at all. She got tossed like a ragdoll trying that.

-Cro Cop will return on South Korea card, Mitrione is asking for that fight

Pumped to see McCrory back in the UFC. I am surprised to see Marquardt still getting fights though, Dana usually pulls the plug on these vets when their chins start to go.

Not probably. You WOULD want to see Holloway get a title fight haha. Chad's had 3 title shots already, 2 Undisputed and 1 interim (I understand this was a replacement but still a shot). Guy needs to win 3 more fights before another chance. Frankie got 1 shot when he dropped down, then has been winning and is barely even mentioned. Could be my Chad Mendes hateraid showing but for a division that is stacked why is Chad continually getting shots.

A close fight between Aldo and Conor could be an immediate rematch aswell and delay anyone from getting a shot

I agree holloway should get a shot but it seems a numbers game and who's more popular getting title shots

I love condit but is he more deserving than woodley or Hendricks ? And rumors Cain gets an immediate rematch after being beating rather easily and Gustafson lost his last fight so it's hard to know who the ufc would go with but lucky enough the division is stacked

Edgar deserves a shot before Holloway. You can even argue he deserved a shot before Conor but Conor was more popular. I'm just saying for a stacked division why is Mendes always getting shots? If Mendes beats Edgar does he get ANOTHER one? It's BS.

I know it's a weird situation, Frankie doesn't want to wait but giving him mendes is risky because its knocking off a contender if he loses

They could have giving him anyone else and a win he'd still be no 1 contender

If mendes wins I agree no way he should get a shot, he should fight again before even being mentioned

Can't see Conor fighting at that weight for much longer anyways, he's looking worse each weight cut

Mendes/Edgar is a great fight, just not sure it's the right time for it. They obviously are gonna book Holloway again, probably against Stephens. If Edgar and Holloway lose they put themselves in a bad spot.

Couple other recent fight announcements. Stefan Struve vs Jared Rosholt added to 193. Also Nik Lentz is going back up to LW to fight Danny Castillo, expect to see more guys moving up in weight with the IV ban.
