All of them. 2014 FHD is my favorite of the 3. He's got a few great mixtapes, The Warm Up & Friday Night Lights.

If I had to rank all of his projects, it'd go something like this
    2014 FHD
    Friday Night Lights
    The Warm Up
    Born Sinner
    Cole World The Sideline Story

Last 2 are pretty interchangeable, and all of them are good in their own way.

Edit: Check out the Truly Yours tape as well. He dropped it right before Born Sinner.

His last album was easily his best one. Cole World & Born Sinner were not as good as FNL and TWU. 2014FHD was like the album that should have followed those mixtapes.

Man, I was just bumpin CW:SS its been a min.... I forgot how doe DIII is and Sidleline Story was... :wow5:

I say this question cant be answered by a big J.Cole fan.

I mean for me every album is special. It marks a time in my life. It's like asking someone with kids what which kid they love more.

Every mixtape plays like an album and every song... that is on there fits a purpuse. IDK.... FHD is his most recent so I guess that fresh to me...

but FNL and TWU up there too...

Just really depends what type of Cole fan you are, meaning at what point in time did you really start following his music.
I started in the summer of 2010 so TWU was really his only music out besides The Come Up. So TWU will always be one of his best projects regardless what he puts out.

    BUT WHEN FNL DROPPED :banderas:

Wish I could go back and re-live that moment lol the real Cole is in his mixtapes. He was so f---in hungry..

Definitely give his mixtapes a bump they're f---in dope. The last album is generally regarded as his best. I found the first two quite lackluster.

This is such a tough question because The Warm Up and Friday Night Lights are so fire especially FNL it's very polished. They're clearly better than Born Sinner (BS still has some gems on it though) and is better then Cole World. Though I don't see why this gets so much hate. Cole World is still a good album. However when Forrest Hills Drive dropped I think it took the nod for his best protect from FNL. FHD is extremely cohesive and Cole is just saw raw on it. It was truly the next step he needed to take in his career from a label stand point. He was finally able to bridge together a sound that appeased the label while staying true to himself.

Check out his early mixtapes, they're his best work. Forest Hills Drive is his best studio album, Cole World and Born Sinner are pretty lacklustre barring a few great songs here and there .

I have to say I do not understand the hate Born Sinner forever gets. I don't hear the bs at any given point on that album. Not being a stan by any means, but when I hear an album fully it's rare that I like every last single track. And Born Sinner was enjoyable to me. He had a few corn lines but that didn't detract the overall quality to me, people acting like he never did that on his mixtapes (lie and say there wasn't). And the overall theme of Born Sinner was just flawless to me and interesting. Some tracks had elements of some of the 7 Deadly Sins if you listened to them or bothered to pay attention. Greed, Lust, Pride and Envy, were the primary ones the songs spoke of

I'll run the risk of stanning for Born Sinner because f--- it. To me it doesn't deserve the hate. It was more interesting than CW:SS by a long shot
