Aug 29, 2015 Eminem needs Dre more than Dre needs him if we're being real here. he knows what's best for Em. and Dre didn't even produce that Medicine Man track. it was Focus & Dem Beatz. he might of mixed the song though.
Aug 29, 2015 I wouldn't blame Dre too much. He is the producer etc, and yeah probably should of stepped in and said "hey the lyrical content here is garbage" But I think when you're working with the hottest artist at the time who can literally do no wrong, you'd kinda give them freedom. Maybe that was Dre's mistake, giving Eminem too much freedom. (also, pretty sure Dre giving Eminem freedom to do whatever in the past, lead to some of there best songs. Could see him using that same formula, then Em coming back with relapse-tier lyrics...)
Aug 29, 2015 1) Dre hasn't really produced for anyone in the past few years (Save a throwaway and probably 5+ year old beat for 50 for AA) - Last two Kendrick albums had no Dre beats - When Rick Ross said he was in the studio with Dre, all we got out of that session was a Jake One beat, not a Dre beat. 2) Dre was in that long video promo for Southpaw. Clearly they are still cool, and the video is indication that they were working together again (See medicine man) If Eminem does release his last album this year, then DRE will def be on it.
Aug 30, 2015 I think Eminem just wont work with dre. Im sure if Em would say " Yo dre lets do music again and f--- up the game" Dre would say yes!
Aug 30, 2015 People reach so hard when it comes to Eminem lol. Just because nothing is released or news doesn't surface doesn't mean they don't work together. According to Koolo a Dre, Xzibit, and Eminem song was made. That's just one of the MANY songs between the two they've made since relapse that we'll never hear! Take D12 for example it would be very easy to say he doesn't work with them at all he wasn't even on Bane but news surfaced about him doing 3 tracks with them that we'll probably never hear so same thing.
Aug 30, 2015 Lol at Dre being more self aware or being more in touch Compton s----d. Sounded nothing like Chronic/2001 Dre but I guess that's being in touch with current music right? If you're gonna take shots at Em for sounding different/selling out you can do the same with Dre on that s---. Sounds nothing like Vintage Dre in anyway.
Aug 30, 2015 We all obviously share different opinions but to me Compton was horrible and I can appreciate Dre. His first two albums didn't have to grow on me or anything they were just classic from the start especially 2001! Compton just felt way to underwhelming.
Aug 31, 2015 Every Stan in this thread (Which is everyone who thinks Em&Dre have issues) forgot that. They also forgot all of the other evidence stated. Jabronies.
Aug 31, 2015 Compton not sounding like Chronic or 2001 doesn't make it a bad album. This is #ArchDoggLogic.
Aug 31, 2015 What in the f--- are you rambling about? You said one thing and contradicted it with another 2-3 times in this s-----y a--- post. How the f--- Dre sell out when he put out an album that didn't have one song on it that would work as a single? Meanwhile Eminem's working with Rihanna, Bruno Mars and Pink.
Sep 1, 2015 Changing your sound =/= selling out, and I never said anything about selling out. Just that Eminem makes bad music now. Compton got generally great reviews across the board—I've only heard of you and arch dogg not liking it.
Sep 1, 2015 lol dre doesn't work with him much probably because he's working on getting his other artists out there. he had as much to do with MMLP2 as he did with TPAB likely.
