Yea, I included it out of Oscar-season completism, but I have little to no interest, especially when Man on Wire is just right there.

As for Sicario...umm...maybe it will be cool?

I just watched Tom a la Ferme. Once again, Dolan tangentially approaches making something great and ends up masturbating in the mirror.

A bit harsh, but I do agree to an extent here. I just watched it recently too and while it starts strong and has a number of compelling scenes (the dance sequence in the barn comes to mind), the characters and their motivations are somewhat half-baked, so the denouement doesn't have the impact it should.

I'm just hoping Mommy was his final picture about mommy issues.

Is Sicario supposed to be bad or something? I completely forgot it existed.

Nah, Rowjay just prefers obscure Ukranian films set in rural villages about incestuous love.

I mean I haven't read any press on it, but I've mostly enjoyed all of Villeneuve's films thus far.

I've only seen Prisoners and Enemy, but I thought both were great in their own way.

Probably his pre-Prisoners work. English is too mainstream.

It makes sense in his case tho since he French Canadian himself so he salty he moved away from that to American sh--. English being too mainstream is the corniest thing ever tho and rowjay would never go by that.
