    So the season starts a week from today and we still have no clue if Brady will be playing

    I read something that said the judge will make a ruling by tomorrow at the latest. Dunno how much truth there is to that, but we'll see

    Tom Brady has beaten the NFL in the Deflategate court case, with U.S. District Court Judge Richard Berman nullifying the league's four-game suspension Thursday.

    Berman announced his decision after the sides failed to reach a settlement following several weeks of talks.

    Brady's suspension originally was upheld by NFL commissioner Roger Goodell in July after an appeal. Brady, meanwhile, repeatedly had disputed the league's ruling that he and Patriots' equipment staff colluded to deflate footballs before New England's 45-7 victory over Indianapolis in last season's AFC Championship Game.

    h--- YES!! Very good for my fantasy teams, and for my enjoyment of week 1, since the Thursday game is one of the only games I'll get to see the 1st week. :emoji_thumbsup:

    But jesus, what a waste of time this whole thing was lol.

    I don't know if Roger can really take an L tbh, I mean it's been an awful offseason for football in terms of what's been in the headlines (not just this), and yet everyone's as hyped as ever for the season. The NFL's popularity just won't go away or even slow down a little bit no matter what happens.

    On another note, looks like I got Brady as a f---in STEAL in some of my drafts. He was there fairly late a few times since people were assuming he'd miss 4 games.

    Yeah obviously the NFL is doing great, but any qualified person can negotiate those TV deals. It's not like he's responsible for the NFL's success. He demanded to be in charge of appeals and he's literally f----- up every chance he's had to get the punishment right.

    I just hope Pats/Steelers doesn't turn into a blowout now, Steelers missing 2 of their best players and on the road against a better team. I hope the game stays competitive at least, Ben should be able to keep it close hopefully.
