Sep 3, 2015 You're right @LasiK (but I've never had a "breakdown" on the board and I spend just as much time playing video games )
Sep 3, 2015 Yeah getting fat and becoming anti social. I'm sure its great for society. People spend days just sitting playing video games and now watching. Do you really think this is healthy? This is just making people less in touch with reality.
Sep 3, 2015 No cell phones either. You wanna see where all your boys are? Ride around the neighborhood til you find all the bikes in the driveway.
Sep 4, 2015 "watching someone else play video games, is like going to a restaurant and watching someone eat your food for you" yeah Jimmy, or it's like paying hundreds of dollars to sit in a seat and watch other people play sport. I could just as easily say Jimmy's an anomaly for willing to pay money to watch someone play a sport, instead of playing it himself the lazy piece of s---.
Sep 5, 2015 his analogy to that was watching someone play games isn't an equivalent to watching someone play a sport, it's like watching someone play a fantasy sport
Sep 5, 2015 Sport is physical activity. Fantasy Sport is editing lineups for daily games to accumulate points.
Sep 5, 2015 this is completely irrelevant to the activity. it changes nothing about what you are personally doing as the viewer of either. also, your way of comparing them is skewed as f---
Sep 5, 2015 I just answered the question. I'm not Jimmy Kimmel lol. But to have some fun..... remember I'm not agreeing with Kimmel I could care less what he thinks. Watching sports = Physical activity that you're watching. You may hope your team wins. If you're a stat junky you'll like to see how players do. Watching Fantasy Sports = Editing lineups and then choosing if you want to view that sport game. In doing so you're interacting with the game in hoping the players you chose to represent your fantasy team are performing well. When they perform you attribute points. Points that go towards a leaderboard. A leaderboard which determines bragging rights and money (depending if playing with friends or not and have a simple pot in the game). What usually happens when you play video games? You attribute points...points that go towards a medal/trophy/high score. So when you watch someone play video games it's similar to watching someone play fantasy sports. That's most likely what he was getting at.
Sep 6, 2015 This makes no difference tho in the actual watching. it's still the same sort of activity either way with the same potential entertainment value depending on the person
Sep 6, 2015 that much is true, because watching someone play a game can be entertainment but what I was explaining what is objective in kimmel's logic
Sep 6, 2015 it's true there's no physical activity but it's moronic for him to judge it as worthless or inferior/stupid entertainment based on that, as it has no real bearing on anything.
Sep 6, 2015 the point here is that it's totally irrational to wish death or illness upon him because of what he said...
