Sep 1, 2015 J. Cole and Kendrick both blew up way too quick. If we ever do get this album it is going to be all different tracks than these I bet
Sep 3, 2015 to quick? I started listening to Kendrick in 2005, he didn't start getting a buzz until 2010-11
Sep 3, 2015 Thank god I am not the only with this opinion. Part of the fun of music for me is how some people love music that others hate. The varying opinions always fascinate me. When I hear Kendrick I think of a top tier rapper who has the potential (and most likely) will be considered a GOAT. J Cole reminds me of a lower tier rapper with cliche, boring lines, (usually) hidden behind some great production I will admit. He brings nothing new to the table for me and lyrically does not showcase a superior skill. Why Kendrick would want to make an entire Collab album with him is beyond me. I also have to laugh...I asked my 13 year old niece the other day what kind of music she was into. She made a mention of how she and her friends loooooooooooooove J Cole. So I guess J Cole has the tween market on lockdown haha.
