Oct 8, 2015 idk based on the way it was described it sounds like it was just involuntary piss accidentally getting on drake's shoes and drake being too nice to freak the f--- out over it. either that or drake's on some r kelly s---
Oct 9, 2015 If you're ghostwriting entire verses in hiphop, you deserve to get pissed on. I don't really mind a club single like Find Your Love being ghostwritten, but if you're making a pure rap verse, then that's not cool. You can't say you're spittin, if someone else is writing your rhymes. You can't say you're speaking from the heart, if someone else is writing your rhymes.
Oct 9, 2015 alright since you seem pretty sure of yourself, what evidence do you have to prove that i'm wrong? was q miller not credited for his contributions?
Oct 9, 2015 Please explain why Drake refuses to acknowledge the leaked reference tracks and dodged the issue in both of his diss tracks. They're just collabs so there's no reason for him to tiptoe around it, right?
Oct 9, 2015 i assumed the "i'm honored you think this is staged" line was addressing it. there's nothing else it could really be talking about.
Oct 9, 2015 No, it was expected Even if Meek came with a classic, Drake's fanbase still would've made memes embarrassing him for months That destroyed the public's perception of him Wanna know just added insult to injury
Oct 9, 2015 This Like drake came with the weakest disses in existence And then meek sat down for like a week to write his Got the undertaker song Got the reference tracks And proceeded to do jack s--- That's like buying a race car for a marathon and deciding to get out and push the car the whole way
Oct 9, 2015 The memes wouldn't have swayed anyone except drake stans and tumblr kids. A good diss is a good diss and there were none of those so drake just got lucky in that his fanbase is more memecancer than meeks
Oct 9, 2015 what was so bad about meeks diss ? the energy or the lyrics he side by sided how drake used reference tracks which i thought was a good move back 2 back was better tho
Oct 9, 2015 Drake handled all of this very well and Meek handled it about as poorly as he possibly could have
Oct 9, 2015 Drake handled it as well as he possibly could and Meek did literally everything wrong. The whole Quentin thing did put a chink in Drake's armor tho (even though he credited the MFer anyway smh)
Oct 9, 2015 yeah i'm not really sure why meek thought he had such a huge groundbreaking discovery. basically "a songwriter who was credited for writing verses on drake songs turns out to have written verses on drake songs"
Oct 10, 2015 What exactly do you want him to say? I really don't understand.... People keep claiming Drake won this feud because his fans didn't care about him not writing his own lyrics. No. People didn't care because the reference tracks that were put out were nothing. Some bars + hooks, it wasn't anything huge. It's not like Miller was writing entire songs for Drake. Almost all artists collab with other artists/song writers to assist them in writing songs. Like, do you really think artists write every single lyric in every single one of their songs?
Oct 10, 2015 I think meek mill is taking his time to write something, idk this beef doesn't feel over for me. #meekwillcomethru
