Nah, he had what? 2 interviews and one of them was mostly about how he doesnt agree with capitalism They were cool, but there's something about hearing certain stories about how songs came together etc. that can make you appreciate a song more. Vids, interviews, remix were just some cliche examples I threw out. doesnt have to be that exactly. Tell me seeing something like power trip beat breakdown video doesnt make u wanna go check that song again.
Nobody's hyped to go listen to fhd right now. They have no reason to.

The music was my reason to go listen 6 months ago. Its not extraneous if its centered around the music. Im not asking for him to ge get a reality show. But if hes gonna put music out every 2 years, at least do something to keep it fresh in that time.

It still gonna be bigger than wet dreamz and apparently. It's already 66 on the hot 100 and wet dreamz and apparently only reached 61 and 58. Song is constantly rising on radio and iTunes once the video drops it has a chance at top 40 which would be enough for me.

A Fire Squad remix could have been great. Put a few other big names rappers on there, like Drake, ASAP, Kendrick, Sean, Nas, Jay or anybody like that and the song would have gotten much bigger. No Role Modelz should have been released as the 1st single IMO and then followed up with a video.

I feel ya and respect your position but for me it's just the music. I don't need interviews, stories, behind the scenes, etc to go back and listen to life is good or blue print or kaleidoscope dream. I continually listen to good music based on the merit of the music. I definitely understand you want one of rappers you like to drop more material...I do. I do too! I guess I'm not at that point where I'm getting pissed because he went ghost...

Gimme another month or so

My comments had nothing to do with the quality of the music. Everybody has their music that they love and are going to resort back to regardless of the hype around it. It's more about the fact that I witnessed him on the come up and have always rooted for him to succeed. It's kind of annoying when you see opportunities fly by like its nothing.
That was my original point.

they add hype to a song thats just fact, cole had a few perfect moments to drop a video for it but now i think hes missed that boat ... just watch hotline bling and what a video for that will do for drake
