Nov 24, 2015 i think it was the best hip-hop era too, but i don't think the 90's were leaps and bounds better than other eras. lots of the stuff in the 80's, which is generally considered old school, i like a lot. that era had a different sound to it than the 90's (beats weren't as commercial friendly) but it was still very good. i also think a lot of the hip hop in the 2000's was great as well. so yeah, i'm OK with 90's getting a lot of love, but i can't say it was way better than the other era's
