    @Detroit24 I'm assuming you've been watching season 2. I haven't seen any episodes yet so I avoided reading the thread but has it been as good as season 1 was so far?

    so far it certanly is...i have to wait until season 2 is completly over before making a comparison with season 1...but it definetly has good storylines going and constant suspense lol

    had issues with monday's episode. this show has a habit of making characters behave in ways that serves the plot, but undercuts who they are. its an exciting show, so i get they need things to fit a to b... but sometimes you see the strings. ted danson would not have left kirsten dunst at her house. things like that i felt like made this episode a little shakier than usual

    I just started streaming season 2...its just as good as the first soo far...Really intense...and really on point soundtrack...feels like ur in the time period...Phenomenal show

    Finally caught up, this season is fantastic. I miss Billy Bob Thornton but this season is easily better than the last.

    The only thing I dislike about this season is that in season 1 Lou Solverson tells Malvo or Nygard ( I don't remember which, been a while) all about the massacre at Sioux Falls, so we kind of know how season 2 is gonna end lol.

    the plot points in this show can get REAL cute sometimes

    why wouldnt dodd k--- peg
    why would the indian "be sick of this life" suddenly

    Dodd said he was 'gonna have fun with her' or something before that. He should have tied her up, but he believes women are fundamentally weak so he wouldn't be worried about her doing anything, plus he needed the rope to ambush Ed (I keep wanting to call him Todd lol). s-----y plan, but he's stupid and his arrogance has caused him to make poor decisions/have s-----y plans in the past. I do agree to an extent, but I don't think it's too much of a reach.

    As for the latter, yeah he's always been loyal to the family so idk. They hammered it in (perhaps a little too much so) with the bar scene that he's tired of getting s--- on by white people so it makes sense but does seem like kind of abrupt. I enjoyed the episode a lot though.

    Also, Mike Milligan is a great character but does anyone else think his two silent amish body guard brothers or whatever the f--- are lame? Seems pretty cliche to me.

    yeah i get the show's reasoning. but it's more like forcing the plot point... this isn't the first time they've done it.

    like hank letting kirsten dunst and THEN "todd" go... sure, the showrunners are writing it off by implying he has a concussion or whatever... but it's more like the plot demanded those two characters stay in the action, so they worked backward. it's hard not to show the strings on shows like this... ultimately, its a good show so im nitpicking, im just comparing it to the breaking bads of the world. but still

    ive read a bunch of people who feel these plot points are wholly organic. i can see why, i just disagree.


    edit: one other complaint. why are hank and lou seemingly the only cops in like 4 states who care about this? we saw last episode the media is all over it, so where are the reinforcements? the show tries to make an explanation but its straining by this point in the season. the violence hasnt been contained

    I think more cops will be involved in the final 2 episode (teaser of next ep, shows more cops involved lol) really great episode imo...looking forward to the final 2 episodes...

    Hanzee Dent "Indian" is classic Cohen Bros character lol with him driving the pickup truck, convenience store staredown, amazing killer lol i.e. Malvo, Chirigui (no country for old men)
