Dec 1, 2015 Ftr no Travis fan thinks it's the best thing to come out this year, but the s--- just sounds so good you know. Unfortunately there's not a lot of technically impressive work behind it so it's hard to defend, which is why most Travis defenders don't get into verses or things like that.
Dec 1, 2015 The other day I completely forgot Compton even existed despite doing a review on it for my school paper.
Dec 1, 2015 Also some of you guys seriously don't know where RS's tastes align, so no f---ing way would Rodeo make this list, as someone who enjoyed Rodeo quite a bit.
Dec 1, 2015 Well, Sremmlife is a better album than Rodeo and succeeded at its goal a lot better than Rodeo did (ala Sremmlife just trying to be as fun as possible, not taking itself too seriously, where as Rodeo took itself maybe a bit too seriously and is a bit inconsistent in places). Rolling Stone are trash anyways so I wouldn't take this list all that seriously.
Dec 1, 2015 Rodeo was not a better album then TPAB. The two cannot even be compared as artists. K Dot is advancing the culture. Travis is advancing Kanye's culture. That's NOT. A knock on Kanye (he's transcendent and up there with Dr Dre). I'm just that much into followers. If I'm getting turnt up give me Rodeo but my tastes in Hip Hop and music as a whole will never allow me to see K Dot in any other light then a transcendent artist. The fact that his music is now lost on some of you only proves the point further. But we all have our opinions. That's the best part about being a member on #Sxn80, I learn of newer artists from all of y'all... I peep it and if it fits my standards I keep it... If it's wack then I throw it back in the ocean for the guppies to feed off of. To quote RBL Posse... "Don't give me no bammer weed... We don't smoke that s--- in the SFC..." Kendrick is doing something different.
