Jan 25, 2016 At one time I could have sworn I was the only fan of his. How did you guys get associated with this hero?
Jan 25, 2016 I never heard of him until I saw @Deadpool post here and then I saw the movie trailer, looks pretty cool.
Jan 25, 2016 first got into him back in 2009 when Ryan Reynolds played him in X-Men Origins : Wolverine
Jan 25, 2016 I don't remember tbh. I always dug comics so I just knew who he was. Torn on the movie. It looks good but I really want fox to lose their Marvel rights. Dudes were douche bags to Marvel back in the early 2000's when they was down on their luck. Tbh I kinda hope Deadpool and the next X men movie bomb like FF. Or that the two of them will learn to play nice like Marvel and Sony so I can see Wolverine chill with Tony and Cap on screen.
Jan 25, 2016 I just saw his face plastered all around the internet, and at first thought he looked like some edgy fusion between like the punisher & spiderman. Like some post-modern version of those heroes, I cringed when I heard he always breaks the 4th wall.
Jan 25, 2016 Marvel Ultimate Allaince was the game I bought along with my 360 and he was my favorite character on the so I looked him up.
Jan 26, 2016 As a kid in the 90's, I was really into Marvel comics and I used to collect trading cards. I know I owned some Deadpool cards and a comic here and there. I also had a Deadpool action figure with a retractable blade. I followed X-Men and the characters associated with that part of Marvel. But eventually I stopped following comics as much towards the late 90's, which I believe is when Deadpool's popularity started to pick up. Anyway, I really hated how badly they f----- up the character in X-Men Origins. It looks like they're trying to reverse the damage that was done with this new movie. Found a pic of the Deadpool toy I had as a kid. He wasn't that popular back then. He started getting popular when he got his own comic. Before he was some sort of X-Force villain. I always thought he looked like a f----- up Spider-Man.
Jan 26, 2016 Saw him in a spiderman comic way back then when i was a kid. After that I kinda forgot about him until i started download comics around 2007 and accidentally got one of his and witnessed the dopeness
Jan 26, 2016 I was always a x-men fan. I've read tons of comics, watched all the TV shows all the movies. Yeah
Jan 31, 2016 Was going through some old stuff and found a couple of binders of my trading cards from the 90's. Spotted these two joints from 1994:
Jan 31, 2016 My family moved recently and as a result I threw out a lot of stuff I had when I was a kid. I too had Marvel trading cards of some sort with a couple of Deadpool ones. It's really weird to think that such an obscure hero would rise to such popularity now. I cannot wait for the movie.
