    Kendrick Lamar will become the first artist other than Drake to collect more than 200 million streams for an album in a single week. Tracks from d---. (TDE/Interscope) have already been streamed more than 50 million times.

    so how does this work after this streaming bs? do you add SPS figures with album figures? i doubt Kendrick did 900k in a short week

    Streams shouldn't count towards album sales. You aren't actually paying for the album or any of the songs

    thats impressive for both artists. I mean i kinda understand this whole "God" mentality that artists adopt...to have more than one person WANT to listen to you (sing/rap/etc) is quite an accomplishment for any human being.

    Drake will get more streams because he has more songs on More life. That's where I think counting streams is wrong.

    But there's still only 24 hours in a day. If you have 30mins to listen to music then it doesn't matter how many songs are on an album.
