Its like watching Duke beat up on Grand Canyon U. in the first week of the NCAA season. Doesn't interest me, I enjoy competition.

Bron has played almost as many reg season and playoff games already and still trails him considerably in everything aside from the slight edge in boards & assists.

Lebron isn't retiring anytime soon so he's going to crush MJ in just about everything except for scoring and rings won.

You missing the point. Not about passing him, look at the amount of games they each played to get those numbers.

One example, Bron has played more games and still trails in him by like 4K points.

Bron can score but he's not a scorer. MJ is the better scorer. Lebron is better at everything else.

He rebounded and assisted slightly more. Give everything else to MJ. Defense, speed, free throw shooting, handle, skills/moves, killer instinct, clutch factor, on top of being far and away the most lethal scorer in NBA history.

Defense has to go to Lebron. So he has passing, rebounding, defense, and leadership/intangibles.

Clutch factor and killer instincts are just espn talking points.

Defense doesn't go to Lebron lol. MJ was a DPOY winner and candidate throughout most of his career. From 87-96 he was regarded as a top 5 defender at minimum.

Why leadership/intangibles? Could you ever imagine MJ running off after the Bad Boys whooped his a---? Or get so intimidated by Jason Terry & Deshawn Stevenson that he completely choked in a Finals?

Did you start watching basketball 10 years ago?? Srs question.

'Defense has to go to Lebron' was probably the funniest thing I've read in this thread all year tbh.

MJ averaged more steals (led the league in steals for 3 seasons), was all NBA defense 9 times (all 1st team selections), compared to 6 total for Lebron (5 1st team).

Lebron should have won it that year Marc won it.

People always talk about how it was much harder to score back then because if the rule changes in the early 00s but fail to realize that it's much harder to be a defender in today's modern NBA. With Lebrons size and athleticism he would have been the best defender in the 90s.

But even with that said Lebron gets the edge as a defender because he's the more versatile defender. Even if you think mj could defend the perimeter better MJ wasn't 6'9 260. Lebron can defend 1-4 and some 5's in the modern NBA. He can defend the interior and perimeter. That makes him the more valuable defender.

When I say better leader and better intangibles I mean he's a great teammate who makes the players around him better. The impact of a Lebron on a team is well documented. When he leaves a team they go from championship contender to the lottery. MJ leaves the bulls during their 1st 3 peat and they are only 2 games worse the next season.
