Mar 16, 2016 Classic mistake...both albums urging their neighbors to strive for self-improvement, self-love, and self-sustainability but they're both extremely different, specially the production. Production wise, the albums pay homage to very different periods/era of black music
Mar 16, 2016 At first I thought they were similar, but nah..the more I listen to both these albums, the more I realize I was wrong.
Mar 16, 2016 Not really, and Common is actually my favorite rapper. I'd say Marvin Gayes Trouble Man is the closest thing we have to TPAB
Mar 16, 2016 The context of both albums are very similar, but Kendrick and Common took their own approaches, I'm a bit rusty with LWFC but a lot of the highlights are the problems/issues with modern day society while Kendrick highlights the positives. I've been listening to Black on Both Sides recently, would this be similar to them?
