Personally, FHD did not top FNL for me. But to the masses, it did.

I was at LSU when he popped up and randomly played football on campus, people down there didn't f--- with him heavy, but it was packed with folks rapping his lyrics when he was signing autographs.

And when he came back for a show the line for the venue was almost a mile long three hours before show time. I went to his Born Sinner shows, people weren't f---ing with Cole like that.

FHD had multiple radio records too

When IB was broke and in his prime, his pen game was unfuckwitable. Soon as he started getting b------s we got those trash a--- mediocre albums. It's sad

FHD was what turned Cole into a superstar. I remember watching the FHD documentary and they were saying Cole's show in Seatle for the Born Sinner tour only sold like 5000 tickets. For the FHD tour they sold over 19000 tickets in Seatle. That huge difference off literally just one album. The mass's f----- with FHD heavy

well, i think FHD is a classic album, and i will consider it a classic years from now looking back on cole's career. . i remember vividly when it dropped, how everybody was on that s---, born sinner aint have that impact. i remember riding around in my 93 saturn bumping that s--- everyday my n-----, every f---ing day literally, n----s high af singing wet dreamz hook. thats what i consider a classsic, i dont know what your definition of a classic album is. FHD got nothing but love here. i've seen ppl online say born sinner his best album, i mean i get it but imo it's not. i think those few ppl who say that say it because they feel like FHD brought in a bunch of bandwagon fans lol. n----s dont truly believe Born Sinner is better.

but my favorite cole project is the warm up, just because that's the first project i heard from cole. from the first time i heard that s---, i was like, cole is the one. so yea, that project is gon be #1 forever.

i do think FHD is a better project tho. cole has gotten better since the mixtape days and that's facts.

the warm up has always been better than FNL imo, so i was never one of those "cole aint topped FNL yet" people. . i would put FHD and 4YEO above it

What? His debut was more expected than any debut in the last 10 years. More than Drake's, more than Kendrick's. Dude was crowned as the savior of rap because of Warm Up and mostly because of FNL. I remember those times vividly cause I was the greatest Cole stan in the world at that point. No one has had more hype than Cole coming off FNL.

That new earthgang ep "Robots" is dope. They said every EP would have his own sound, they didn't lie, like the sound of this one.

You must be a child. 50 cent had the biggest buzz of all time before first album. And Drake easily came in second. And I f---ing hate drake. But them the facts boi.

FNL did give Cole a huge buzz as a new artist. But it wasn’t anywhere close to 50 and drake. Not even mentionable next to what they had.
