    He might be on life support for now but as much as I dislike the guy Trump will finish him off with a tweet this week.

    either you are 9 year old or you dont understand mathematics/statistics/probabilities.
    not only are those numbers an accurate projection,for artist like eminem they even tend to give them a generous multiplier.
    I predict that the numbers are going to be worse than what hdd are projecting.

    thats not even how it works loll....... they dont look at streamings on day 1 and do time 7 to count one week, did you know that streamings numbers will go down day after days????
    the worse the album is, the faster the numbers are going to drop(which is why I said they were being generous with eminem numbers because its eminem) since the album really sucks, numbers are going to be worse than what they are projecting.

    lets look at the new starwars, it almost did 100m$ on the first day, do you really think to estimate the first week numbers you do 100m$ time 7 days????
    youre making yourself look dumb, just stop please.

    I can't believe they released the album in it's current state. They should have taken the time to actually get some decent beats and find an engineer that knew how to mix a rap song. Did Dre and Eminem have a falling out?

    LOl look at all of you here saying Em is done and his career over! That man is a fighter. If sales truly are low it will be motivation for him to come back stronger. The man feeds off of adversity and honestly needs it to make good music

    the difference with taylor is like 1000 pts on both days. Taylor sold 1.2M first week and Eminem will only sell 300K? The number are almost the same between these albums. I'm not saying Em gonna sell 1M+ but I can see it going Gold, maybe I'm wrong tho :idk:

    They never followed up as Trump didn’t reply, I also think that’s why the album was pushed back and maybe a few songs swapped

    Firstly I get that the promo (or lack of it) led to this but just wanted to share this. Could be totally wrong as I don't fully understand how sales work with streaming now.

    I read somewhere that for streaming to count as 1 sale for a song you need 10 listens. I know it sounds strange to say but could streaming have possibly damaged his numbers? Everyone who listened before would have to buy the hard copy or pay for it on itunes. Now the casual listener or rap fan will just stream it for free where before they would have bought it.

    yeah that'll definitely be a factor to a degree, I think eventually he'll hit the same numbers we usually see week one. Ed's song will probably be pretty big in terms of streams and Like Home if that's the next single

    He bought it on himself. It all started with a somewhat s-----y album in 2013, followed by a 4 year hiatus during which he put out a few chart flops. He ended that hiatus by coming back and insulting the president and telling majority of his fan base to f--- off. Then he dropped a single with no drums and nothing single-worthy and announced an album with a drug themed promotion, which everyone speculated was dropping on the 17th of November. Meanwhile, zero promotion or announcements or anything. Then he goes on Shade 45 and talks bs on his supposed release date. He performs old songs on SNL the day after. Then he goes quiet again for a few days and comes back, ditches the whole drug themed promotion and starts pushing a "political" album with a promotional single and a political album cover. Then he drops the album, and it's s---, mostly. All over the place, no theme, nothing. Not stuff you feel inside or relate to or anything, just a bunch of tracks put together with a few genius tracks. And barely anything political at all.

    AND YOU EXPECT HIM TO DO 800K AFTER THAT?? REALLY??

    Eminem is also in contention for the Number One album this week. The Detroit rapper released his first album in four years, ‘Revival’, yesterday (December 15).


    The record is currently outselling Ed Sheeran’s ‘÷‘ by three-to-one copies. Bookmakers William Hill have closed the betting on the Christmas Number One album.
