Dec 16, 2017 I mean if he goes over to def jam I could see it happening, but that's wishful thinking. What I've come to realize is whatever you think eminem should do and what would be dope, he usually does the opposite
Dec 16, 2017 I think you need to go back and re listen to the end of castle/arose... He said he' 100 percent done... Last album.
Dec 17, 2017 I don't really think it costs Eminem anything at all. It's Eminem. Non of those artists would say no to a feature by Em on their own s---. So basically, Eminem probably gave them verses or s--- that they can use on their own albums. Or he is yet to give. Funny to think Em actually pays for those features. Even if Sheeran wasn't a fan of Em, he'd benefit from Em feature anyway. Of course production costs money but mainly due to studio time. If he buys beats that already been made it's be very cheap for Eminem, h--- some producers might even give it for free. It's like a free commercial for some artists and producers.
Dec 17, 2017 I don't think that is how the music industry works. Everything comes at a cost (remember the The Game $1 story for those 2 words on that Kanye track?). They maybe won't charge Eminem full price but he is definitely paying a lot, especially for the beats. If I remember correctly, Dre used to charge $50.000-$75.000 for producing a track, and that was his special price for Aftermath artists/ friends.... Rich girl costed Gwen Stefani $250k...
Dec 17, 2017 Okay so if it's a promo album, do you have any idea what his next album is going to be about? Why would he call a promo album Revival? Revival is the type of name for a main album. What comes after Revival?
Dec 17, 2017 next album will be purely hip hop. Like purely purely hip hop. It will be main produced by Dr. Dre (hopefully Kanye will be on that b---- as well but I wouldn't hold onto that thought because Eminem doesn't know Kanye exists). My guess is he called the album Revival to revive the passion from his hardcore fanbase with this album. There is something from every album on this one and it's really good. Like as the album from a neutral standpoint it's good, nothing too amazing but from a standpoint of an Eminem fan this is really good. Next album is purely hip hop, no pop features,no Rick Rubin this time. Only Dre and hopefully Kanye (if Em had any brain)
Dec 17, 2017 Maybe he should called it King Mathers finally. But I read in a thread that the only songs selling are the pop songs... So how will doing a hip hop only album sell more? Dre and 50 don't even sell well anymore. Slim Shady LP Marshall Mathers LP Eminem Show Encore Relapse Recovery Marshall Mathers LP2 Revival King Mathers
Dec 17, 2017 Seriously,he doesn't need to sell anymore. He is the best selling hip hop artist of all time (by quite a big margin) , he is like 7th or 8th best selling artist of all time I think? Just make a high quality hip hop album (hopefully shorter like 13-14 tracks). I know he always make longer albums but make this one shorter seriously.
Dec 17, 2017 well sure it's preferable that he sells but I just have a hunch that his next one will be far from commercial (typical commercial type of album with pop stars). Revival had that "I'm done with this part of my career" feeling. I don't know about you.
Dec 17, 2017 that's the problem, they are great artists (obviously) but pairing of great artists doesn't always end up well, it's not that easy of a formula. If it was everyone would be doing it.
Dec 17, 2017 Seriously, Kanye should and if there is any justice WILL PRODUCE on next Eminem album. Probably not executive produced because honestly that is very unlikely but that would benefit him and Kanye as well because Taylor is killing the charts and Kanye is in hiding and it would be an absolute blast if he returns on the scene by being on next Em album, does a project with Kid Cudi and releases his next solo project.
Dec 17, 2017 Sorry but Eminem just dropped an album in 2017. Why the h--- should he drop an album in 2018 or 2019?
