Jan 8, 2018 I got into Crypto a little over a month ago when I realized they were arbitrage opportunities. I have made little gains making arbitrage trades here and there but just this past weekend I decided to take a little bit of my gains and actually invest in some coins to hold long term. With there being so many to choose from, the hardest part for me (and probably most people who are just getting into crypto) is determining which coins to invest in. I thought this thread would be a good opportunity to 1. inspire more users here to invest after seeing the success of some people on the forum and 2. allow people to share their ideas and discuss why they're investing in certain coins and hopefully everyone gets more informed in the process I realize some people might be private and not want to share their actual portfolios but if you think about promoting the coins you've invested in will only make you richer! As you can see I am not off to the greatest start lol.... XRP and XLM I expect to grow at a more moderate pace over time do to their nature and their growing list of partnerships... and BCN and XVG are my all or nothing coins that I'm hoping skyrocket. BCN is a lesser known coin but has been slowly being improved on over the years by its creators and XVG is similar in nature to BCN as to its speed and privacy but has better branding imo Mentioning @HODLGANG hoping some of you guys wouldn't mind sharing and spreading your wisdom Unrelated side note: if anyone here knows whether or not you can get a verified account to withdraw fiat on exmo.com as a US citizen please let me know

Jan 8, 2018 Yeah. Coinbase. Seems fairly easy so far. I bought at about 2pm GMT this afternoon. Still tracking at a few % loss at the moment though.
Jan 8, 2018 CryptoCompare I've been using this site for a while now and personally like it better than coinmarketcap which everyone seems to use.... however some of their portfolio features will no longer be free after the beta is up (not sure when that will be though)

Jan 9, 2018 Still plenty of time to ride the wave. Maybe not the 600% jump in 6 months but cryptocurrency is still in its infancy. As confidence increases, so will value. Confidence will increase as more people use it.
