Am I able to buy this in Canada? I'm just starting to get into Crypto, it seems like the alt coins I can buy here are really limited?

I’m glad af we finally got a stickied thread tbh.

But at the same time I feel kinda bad, cause alot of people missed the crazy November-December wave. It’s kinda down right now, but crazy dips are all apart of these coins and every time critics say “no this is the bubble burst, this is THE one” and every time they’re proven wrong.

Idk if anyone mentioned this about Ltc, but they’re coming out with Litepay in February.

    LitePay Features:

    • Ability to receive settlement from Litecoin payments directly to the bank account in your own currency, with zero price volatility or risk
    • Ability to manage Litecoin finances in one application with the secure open source wallet by Litepay, which will be available for all major mobile and desktop browsers

Out of all the coins growing this year I have the most faith in Ltc, after continuous research. Hopefully, the amazon rumor accepting Ltc sometime this year is true. I don’t see how Ltc couldn’t grow once these things happen. Ik majority of crypto youtubers are saying Ltc going to be 3k-5k by the end of 2018, but they don’t really know. That’s wishful thinking, but statistically all Ltc needs to do is grow 1/4 of what it did last year to reach those numbers.

I do not own any LTC at the moment, but that sounds pretty good. There seems to be a race to see who can be the first credit/debit card available with crypto. I've been looking into an ICO called FuzeX that looks to do the same (www.fuzex.co). I have not pulled the trigger yet though.

Also, this is a half rant, half advice - I think I'm in the only alt that did not rebound by 20-30%. WAVES stayed cheap as h--- and still is. I have no doubt it will eventually be back in the $15-20 range soon, but it blows my mind that it did not rebound with the rest of the market.

i sold half my LTC a week or two ago to jump into something else. i have a real problem with not wanting to scoop up everything and run myself dry because of it... so many coins, so little fiat.

The fact that I got into crypto in mid Jan and then the massive bloodbath we've just seen got me scared.

I've pumped a fair amount of cash into this recently and I'm currently operating at about a 30% loss (including the astronomical fees to buy and move coins around).

I started trading and moved between about 10 different coins including Tron, Ripple, Spectre etc but the bloodbath made me nervous with all the huge swings so I moved everything back into my coinbase wallet.
I now have 50% Bitcoin, 30% ETH and 20 LTC. I'm going to stick with that now and not trade anything.

The money I would normally put into savings each month I'm gonna use half of to buy those 3 and that's it. Build a stock in coinbase and hopefully watch my cash grow gently rather than looking for for easy wins.

Not as much fun but my early venture into crypto has been too emotional so far!

this post is cute, welcome. BTC has done this for years and will continue to do so, its a normal pattern, same with stocks. it skyrocketed from $5k or something to $20k, retraced back to $12k. next time it might skyrocket to $30k and retrace back to $16k.

it's not a good idea to keep your coins on an exchange, get them on a wallet.

stop buying shitcoins and buy some quality coins, that way even if the whole market crashes, you'll eventually be fine. you can draw parallels of the current cryptomarkets to the dotcom bubble. when the dotcom bubble popped, s-----y companies died and the ones that weren't s--- eventually rose from the dust, ebay and amazon are two companies that did. if you want advice feel free to msg me

I know it's a storm that will ride. That's why I'm still gonna invest on a monthly basis. But for now that's all I'm gonna do; invest, not trade. Feels a bit safer until I know more what I'm doing.

So [stupid question] is coinbase classed as an exchange or a wallet? When you say wallet do you mean a hardware wallet?

Doubt anyone here is a website owner but if you are like me, I've made a special platform for mining alt coins, it connects straight to your Ledger Nano via a couple config outlets.
Going to be released very soon.

Market going on another run. I’m feeling it.
i don’t mine but bought some Monero. It’s been going back up last 24 hours. North Korea’s government using it even made me really think of it of being a good anonymous coin for the future. Cashed out some Ltc and Eth for some hopefully works out

@Boolo do you still have faith in req? While I’m ahead on it I thought about cashing out, but I see potential in the company and hate to considering it hit over 1$ less than a month ago. I didn’t know if that was a fluke or what.

Yeah exactly. Even local news starting to report bitcoin isn’t annonymous, and the deep web has a lot more to play in this than some people think. Especially as the internet age is still booming in some countries.

What’s been working for me is buying a chunk of shitcoins then selling once im ahead and feel they’re about to drop. Then I keep doing that until I have enough btc to buy already established coins like ltc, xmr, eth and go from there.

And more people irl start asking me about bitcoin and if they should buy but recently I just say look into other coins because I feel Bitcoins technology is outdated and other coins are doing what Bitcoin attempted to be anonymous wise. Now if you have that much money to throw around then yeah I’d buy a btc while under 15k in case it does boom to 50k and can always trade your btc for other coins at least. I’m almost getting the feeling a couple of these coins wouldn’t need btc to survive if it were to crash. Btc been slow and there’s others still rising.
