Aug 17, 2018 Rakim raised the bars lyrically back in his day with more internals etc. Em is a student of the game. He learned and could do all that Rakim brought to the table when he came up. And then Em did what Rakim had done...raised the bar some more. Em is clearly the superior technical MC. With Em there's more internals, more multi-syllabic rhymes, and he certainly took flow to a whole new level. Aug 17, 2018 I used to obsess over this s--- when i was in high school lol. I think Chino XL is hands down the most technically proficient rapper I’ve ever heard. His old s--- though, not his newer stuff. Pharoah Monch is definitely up there too. Cant forget Big Pun either

It's only fair to warn I was born with a set of horns And metaphors attached to my dang umbilical cord it rhymes with, with in the second bar and warn with rhymes with horns in the second bar and born rhymes with horns from the second bar and the third bord is assonance for the most part.
