Sep 6, 2018 These are my fresh ratings Ringer 10/10 Greatest 9.1/10 Lucky You 10/10 Normal 5/10 Stepping Stone 10/10 Not Alike 9.5/10 Kamikaze 8.5/10 Fall 10/10 Good Guy 6/10 Nice Guy 7.5/10 Venom 9/10 Overall: 8.6/10 Pros: The highs are simply incredible and s--- on almost all of Relapse, Recovery, MMLP2 and it's coming from someone who fuxx with them heavy. Production is tight asf. Flows are fast but they suit the beats. Trap style beats+ fast flows have always been my s---. Features are incredible. Also, the love songs, though not exactly my thing, are very creative, unorthodox. Cons: Some hooks like Normal, Kamikaze take time to grow on you. Those love songs ruin the flow of an otherwise aggressive album and I'm high-key fed up of them love songs. There are maybe a handful of corny lines, but they're not Revival level corny.
Sep 6, 2018 Glad that you f--- with Venom @Koolo a lot of people seem to dislike the track and I fail to understand why... It's old school Em from start to finish 100%
Sep 6, 2018 But he r---d THE ALPHABET guys, surely that's gotta knock a few marks off the score. He also said the F word, and hit a woman with a baseball bat. Any score above a 6 would be unacceptable in today's climate... lol
Sep 6, 2018 Had the same (and still a bit) feeling about Fall... a bit too slow However its growing into me
Sep 6, 2018 highly rate all the songs. The only 3 that dont get me as hyped as the others are good guy nice guy stepping stones still like them though. pretty amazed at this album, not gonna lie. Good review from Koolo by the way
Sep 6, 2018 The great thing about this album is there is something about every song that keeps me coming back. "Normal" is my least favorite song on the album, but I love the beat switch and second half which in turn makes me like the first half more. I'm not crazy about the "Venom" intro and the verses remind me a little too much of "Phenomenal," but that hook is amazing. "Nice Guy" might seem weird on the first few listens, but when playing the album through it flows perfectly into the incredible "Good Guy." Album is still as good if not better than when I first listened. "The Ringer," "Lucky You," "Fall," and "Good Guy" are all in the conversation for top 5 songs since his hiatus.
Sep 6, 2018 Album is great but this whole debate on quality of album and people's reception on it is just stupid. There are so many angles to love it, and so many to hate. That fast flow was actually good//Not Fast Flow again Angry Em is the best Em//Not that whiny Em again He f---ing called names, that's real Hip Hop// Cry for attention You can hate it for almost the same reasons next one is going to love it. Anyways it's a great f---ing album. I am glad he is still making music.
Sep 6, 2018 Agree about his opening on Lucky you. Think it’s the best way he started a verse ever. Rest of the starts on this album we’re s---. Think he could’ve done a whole verse like that tho? Ehhh
Sep 6, 2018 Reminds me sooo much of medicine man. Amazing opening, until the beat drops. Btw not saying lucky u isnt good after the slow part

Sep 6, 2018 6.5-7 to me depending on my mood. Lot of good s---, fair amount of bad s--- too unfortunately. There's artists out there so far ahead of Eminem musically who are putting out records without the token trash/poor attempts at generic romance songs for me to give this album a good rating. There are songs on this album just like Revival which just have no business being out on a professional rap album from the likes of Eminem point blank and simple. But I will say he came with a lot of hungry dope lyrics on this album as well and I love hearing him go at people. Maybe the next album will finally hit a home run if he can eliminate the corny s--- and poor attempts at women songs.
